Hestia House Tour
Bob Asztalos, the new Director of the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD), visited the Hestia House as part of his statewide introductory tour. He was accompanied by Jeannette Estes, the Central Regional Operations Manager, who helped provide regional insight and context during the visit. Their tour offered an opportunity to see the home’s programs in action and to hear directly from staff about current needs and successes. The visit underscored APD’s commitment to understanding conditions on the ground and supporting providers across Florida.

Request for Donations
We need good quality passenger vans because our aging fleet needs repairs and replacement. One of the greatest barriers to accessing necessary services in our community is transportation. Most of our clients lack the capability to drive themselves or afford alternative means of travel. Vans and other vehicles are vital components of increasing independence, providing for health and well-being, and ensuring that our clients are productive citizens in our area.
Hurricane Milton Damage
During Hurricane Milton, a tree fell on our Parrish Place home, causing significant damage. Six of our residents had to move to different locations temporarily. This has caused a hardship for our organization, and we are asking for donations to help offset some of the costs. We greatly appreciate your support during this challenging time.
